• Payment Information: All payment data (credit cards, bank accounts) is collected and stored exclusively by Stripe, our payment processor. RediChefs never has access to your full payment details.
• Background Check & Identity Verification: All identity verification documents and background check results are handled exclusively by Checkr, our verification partner. RediChefs does not collect or store identity documents.

2.4 Information Collected Automatically:

• Usage data (pages visited, time spent, features used)
• Location data (with your permission, for cook search)
• Cookies and tracking technologies

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Facilitate bookings between customers and cooks
• Coordinate background checks through Checkr (for cook verification)
• Process payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, status updates)
• Send promotional communications (with your consent)
• Respond to support requests
• Prevent fraud and ensure Service security
• Comply with legal obligations
• Analyze usage and improve user experience

4.1 With Other Users: Cook profiles (name, bio, photos, cuisines, ratings) are public. Phone numbers are never shared publicly - only platform administrators can view cook phone numbers for support purposes. Booking details are shared between customers and cooks to facilitate services.

4.2 With Service Providers: We share information with trusted third parties who help us operate the Service:

• Stripe: Payment processing (they handle all payment information directly)
• Checkr: Background checks and identity verification (they handle all verification documents directly)
• Cloud hosting services (data storage)
• Email service providers (transactional emails)
• Analytics providers (usage insights)

4.3 For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.

4.4 Business Transfers: If RediChefs is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We never sell your personal information to third parties.
